(Note: This has been written months ago, so this list is outdated. Will update as soon as there are 10 more candidates)
Our Binibini queens have been crowned, and we’re left anticipating for the big pageant coming later this year.
A few nights ago Shamcey Supsup has won the Binibining Pilipinas – Universe title, and she’ll represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant this coming September in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Now I have to admit I wasn’t the biggest Supsup fan when the competition started. I prefer Diana Arevalo, and Sabrinne Al-Tawil, but now that she’s representing the Philippines, I think we should all be behind her. I guess Stella Araneta saw her rawness as refreshing, and exceptional, given how much pageant patties she’s encountered, year in, year out. And hello, this time
hindi na tayo kakabahan sa Q&A. That is,
kung aabot siya dun.
I’m really getting a Penelope Cruz vibe from her walk and face. Maybe that’ll make her standout in Brazil?
Why don’t you judge yourself how Shamcey fares against other Miss Universe contestants in terms of beauty of face:

In all fairness to Shamcey, I think she has a legitimate shot at making the top 15 although more than 25 countries have yet to crown their queens. Most of the contestants are law students, or models, and Shamcey as an architect already stands out. She can already say that she’s breaking barriers as a woman in this male dominated industry. But sad to say that I don’t think she’s a frontrunner
I’m also rooting for the other Asians in the pageant. Check out Miss Korea, and Malaysia, fighter right?
So, what can you say about Shamcey’s face in comparison to those of other national beauties?
